Watch 2008 ReportA week ago, the Watch2008 event has become kept in the Hoogenweerth Castle in Maastricht (The Netherlands).I attended the big event on saturday, and arrived immediately after the outlet with the first Watch2008. The Watch2008 can be seen as being a watch expo for that relative small, and frequently, independent brands rolex replica . Representatives of Glycine, Christiaan van der Klaauw, Cornelius & Cie and the owners / watchmakers of Limes, D. Dornbl th & Sohn, Lotterman & S ball watch ?hne, Hentschel Hamburg, Rainer Nienaber B nde etc. etc. were all there. The brand/manufacturer that ought to be present (but wasn ) would be the new Dutch manufacturer 楪r?nefeld Exclusive Timepieces ? Too bad, a missed chance.Throughout the event, I came across some old watchfriends, like Mike Stuffler (WatchUseek moderator), Michiel (who brought some cool vintage Glycine with him), Ernie Romers (WatchUseek owner and co-initiator from the event) and the wife, Alon Ben-Joseph of Ace Jewelers (and WatchFreaksBlog.com) and something of my sponsors, Willem Kamerman of Blancier (Lotterman & S iwc bands watches ?hne). Ernie Romers, co-initiator/organizer on the event.Had some great conversations with the watchmakers from Lotterman & S?hne and it was in awe of their WorldTimer watch. Even though colors around the dial aren't my bag, the technical design of the watch is wonderful. All timezones might be read using this watch, even the offset time zones (+/- 0.5 hours). An excellent watch that they created, is this single handed watch in gold.Another excellent watchmaker that had been fun to go to, was Rainer Nienaber.I posted your blog post on his retrograde replica watches not too long ago, and it was now capable of seeing them within the flesh. This guy creates very original and very well crafted timepieces. Ensure that you look-out for his Digimat watch likewise. My oh my, respect with the colorful sneakers he was wearing! A brand which i hadn't got word of before, was Hentschel from Hamburg (Germany). Hentschel creates replica watches that could remind you of those fabulous watch designs through the 1940s and 1950s. The 1938 Omega Chronometer one thinks of, but also the vintage Jeager-LeCoultres and IWC replica watches had similar designs. Unfortunately, the watch stand of Hentschel was too crowded as a way to examine their replica watches slightly better.All kudos to your organization on this event.
